Psychiatric Service Dogs are dogs that aide their owner with particular tasks to help treat a mental health condition. These dogs are afforded full access anywhere other service dogs can go. Examples of just a few tasks these dogs might do include help with grounding, providing pressure, reminding a person to take medication, and waking an individual up during night terrors.
We will work diligently to provide you with the perfect psychiatric service dog to meet your needs. As the training required can be quite extensive and variable depending on tasks needed, price can vary.
We can provide advanced obedience testing, rigorous task-testing, and public access testing to certify your self-trained dog as a psychiatric service dog. Note, any dog testing to become a Psychiatric Service Dog should be completely free of aggression and fear.
